Ready for today’s “our apps” post? This one is perfect for who loves space wars! In “Spaceship”, you’ll have to survive against hundreds of aliens attacks, in a game that mixes two genres: “Line Drawing” and “Tower Defense”.
You’re the commander of the human forces and you have to protect the different Space Stations…If you let the aliens destroy them and your spaceship, they will win this battle. :(

Today we’ll talk about another game that we developed last year: “Viking vs. Chickens”. Hm hm, you read it right: you have to help Torvi, a retired viking, gathering up chicken eggs, so he can whip up his favorite dish: scrambled eggs.
You may think it’s easy to beat a bunch of chickens, but believe me: it’s not! Torvi has to overcome traps, obstacles and attacks created by them. However, there’s no need to be afraid of these fuuuurious chickens! :) You’ll also have power ups which give Torvi a speed increase, for example.
Help Torvi escape endless waves of the painful pecks from angry chicken and collect the highest amount of eggs he can!
“Viking vs. Chickens” features Game Center integration with leaderbords, and Facebook Connect for sharing scores with your friends. The game allows the viking to be controlled by an iGadget accelerometer or a virtual joystick.

Recently, I’ve discovered a new…err…addiction. Nah, it’s not that bad — unless you feel like you need to play it 24 hours per day (like me). It’s “Draw Something”, an amazing app developed by OMGPOP. In only fifty days after it was released, it had been downloaded 50 milliontimes!
So, what is it about? It’s pretty simple: you have to draw something and the other person has to guess what you did. The funniest thing is that there are many types of people playing it…Though, we can say there are always a few…Stereotypes!

Now I’ll continue the “our apps” serie, so that you can discover a little bit more of Uplay’s universe! :) Today’s game is “Burger Mania”, that was released in 2011. In this app, you’ll test your cooking skills, while you have to prepare the best burgers EVER! (tip: don’t play it when you’re hungry)
In “Burger Mania”, you receive a mysterious letter that holds a key to a diner that can be yours. This is where the adventure begins! Once you start the journey and complete each level, you’ll be taken to a new city, where you’ll be faced with more challenges. Do you have the speed and the craft to handle it?!

Nice, isn’t it? There are 11 exquisite characters, that represent countries like Brazil (yay!), U.S.A., Japan…In five different cities, each one with a special soundtrack.
“Burger Mania” made everybody very very pleased here, at Uplay, once it sold, only in July 2011, over 20 thousand copies! We even thanked, in our Facebook page, Sweden – in this country, we reached the first place in sales with our app. TACK! (“thanks” in swedish :D)

In this game, you should help this cute frog reaching the highest altitude. Seems cool, huh?

“Frog Jump” was released in the end of 2010 and many things happened after at Uplay. I didn’t mention it before, but it was our first game, so we we’re kind of…”still learning” how to develop apps.
